Dr. Chase Batty PT, DPT, MS, CSCS is a Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Belmont University after receiving his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Louisiana State University.

During his time at time Belmont, Chase’s Doctoral research focused on the hemodynamic effects of blood flow restriction therapy and how this tool may be used to return to sport or build strength faster in times of injury and reduced exercise capacity.

Chase remains active in his field of Physical Therapy and Strength and Conditioning by staying up to date in research and pursuing new and improved evidence based treatments in order to offer the best possible care to his patients.

Chase specializes in the assessment and treatment of running related injuries by utilizing video running analysis and modern wearable sensor technology to objectively measure and identify potential contributors to injury and areas for improved performance. His coaching strategy focuses on building mental confidence and individualized programming to meet the demands of your sport and your schedule.

Chase was born and raised in south Louisiana where his love of running and endurance sport began in spite of the sweltering heat. He races distances ranging from 5k to ultramarathon relay and enjoys coaching others to go and do likewise. Chase lives in Nashville with his wife and three children. When he is not at the clinic or pounding the pavement he enjoys being outside and watching live music.
